I physically saw a girl get killed in a hit and run over my program, I can close my eyes and still see her body lying in the street. She too was an international program intern.

I know we are all adults and the last thing you want to hear is the lecture of look both ways before you cross the street but you need to be careful crossing streets in Orlando. My mom freaks out over me crossing a busy street up here 4-6 times a day. Orlando is no different.

There is a messy intersection right outside Vista and if you walk to publix from Patterson. Use the buttons to signal the walk sign and do not jay walk. I walk through green lights up here all the time but not in Florida. Wait til you have the go ahead and look both ways. The girl I saw get killed had the right of way and someone hit her while running a red light.

Yes you are working and living in the safety of Disney but just know when you get off property you leave that zone and you must be careful
